Some of the many types of projects we have successfully completed in the Hampton Roads area include:
- Multiple 20mva transformers and multiple 35kv, 15kv, 5kv, and 480 volt circuits for a new aircraft carrier pier at Naval Station Norfolk;
- 25kv distribution, multiple 20mva transformers, and 15kv, 5kv, and 480 volt circuits for a new aircraft carrier pier at Newport News Shipbuilding;
- Installation of new 15kv SF6 Vista switches and new overhead 15kv recloser at the main substation at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek;
- Installation of two (2) new 5924/6634-7405/8205 rectifier transformers at the Deperming Station in the middle of the Elizabeth River;
- Installation of numerous 5kv, 15kv, and 35kv underground circuits, transformers, and SF6 equipment at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek;
- Removal and replacement of miles of 25kv underground main distribution cable at Northrop Grumman Newport News Shipbuilding;
- 15kv and 35kv re-conducting, maintenance, repair, and replacement of overhead and underground distribution systems for Dominion Virginia Power (DVP) at Fort Eustis, Fort Monroe, and Fort Story; and
- Installation of eight (8) 4000 amp, 480 volt services derived from 35kv, 3750kva transformers at Metro Machine in Norfolk, Virginia.
